A sovereign AI partner for your consortium

If you are putting together a proposal for a European Defence Fund call, a Horizon Europe or Digital Europe topic, or a national or regional innovation programme, and the work needs a sovereign AI and data platform underneath it, we would like to hear from you — preferably while the consortium is still being drawn, not the week before submission.

Scrydon BV is a Belgian company building a European-native platform: the AI Operating System, Analytics and Sovereign Foundations. In a funded project we are the partner that brings that platform, the engineers who build it, and an environment that can run inside the perimeter the programme requires.

Who this is for

• Coordinators and primes assembling a consortium who need an AI, data or sovereign-infrastructure partner for one or more work packages.
• Research organisations and universities that want their methods and models to run on an operational platform, on real data, rather than stop at a notebook.
• SMEs and mid-caps with a complementary capability — sensors, simulation, domain models, a sector application — looking for a platform partner to bid with.
• End users in defence, government and critical infrastructure who will host a demonstrator and want it built on something they could keep running afterwards.

What we bring to a consortium

• A platform work package. Human+AI process flows, agents that act under the same identity, policy and audit trail as the people they work with, and an ontology that gives the consortium's data one shared meaning instead of one schema per partner.
• A place to run it. The same platform deploys to a sovereign cloud, on-premises or to a fully air-gapped cluster, so a demonstrator can sit where the end user's data and classification require — and move when the project does.
• Data that stays with its owner. Partners contribute data and models under their own access rules; nothing has to be pooled into one partner's tenancy for the project to work.
• A route past the final review. What we build in a project is the platform we sell. Results are engineered to be operated after the grant ends, which is what evaluators mean by exploitation and what end users mean by not wasting three years.

The work we are looking for

We are most useful where the call asks for one or more of these:

• decision support and planning where AI agents and people work from the same live picture;
• AI that has to run disconnected, under national control, or across classification boundaries;
• data sharing between organisations that cannot simply hand each other their data;
• governance, assurance and auditability of AI in regulated or safety-relevant settings;
• digital twins of operations, assets or infrastructure that agents can reason over.

If your topic is adjacent rather than on this list, write anyway. We would rather say no to a poor fit in a day than yes to a work package we should not own.

How we work on a proposal

1. A first call, within days. You tell us the call, the concept and the gap in the consortium. We tell you plainly whether we fit and in which role.
2. Scope and write. We draft our work package, tasks, deliverables and effort, and contribute to the technical approach, the architecture and the exploitation plan. We write our own sections; we do not send a logo and wait.
3. Deliver. Named engineers, the same people who build the platform, for the length of the project.

We join as a partner or a subcontractor, and where the project is centred on the platform we are open to leading the technical work. We do not write whole proposals for a fee, and we do not join consortia we could not contribute real work to.

What to tell us

Two or three lines are enough to start: the programme and call identifier, the submission deadline, who is already in the consortium, and the role you have in mind for us. Nothing in a first message needs to be sensitive. If the conversation needs a more careful channel, say so and we will agree one.
