- Bun 1.4.3 at Scrydon: Our Type-Check Gate Moves to bun check(auf Englisch)Bun 1.4.3 shipped bun check, a TypeScript type checker ported from typescript-go, on 10 October. The same day we moved the type-check gate of Scrydon's monorepo onto it. Across 104 TypeScript projects it matched tsc byte for byte in 103. A cold check of the whole repository fell from 124.9 s to 51–68 s, peak memory fell by about a third, and an entire build phase disappeared. It does not beat tsc's incremental mode on a warm re-check, and one project stays on tsc until a bug is fixed.
- Where OpenShell Fits in a Production Agent Platform(auf Englisch)Comparing NVIDIA OpenShell 0.1.2 to our own Agent Runtime, better in some points, worse in others.
- Dependency Is Not Dependence(auf Englisch)Scrydon joined NVIDIA Inception this month. For a company that sells sovereign AI, that needs a sentence of explanation, and the sentence is this: a supplier you buy from is a dependency; a service you cannot operate without is dependence. Sovereignty is about the second, not the first — and most procurement checklists confuse them.
